Nothando has been qualified as a Mental Health Nurse since September 2011 and prior to this, completed support work with vulnerable adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Epilepsy and challenging behaviours. Nothando has been working in a managerial role since March 2016. Nothando has successfully managed a full-time staffing team within a Low Secure unit mental health ward with 15 patients, presenting with both physical and mental health difficulties and extreme challenging behaviours. The quality of her work has contributed significantly towards her organisation achieving and sustaining an ‘Outstanding’ Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating. Nothando also has experience working in residential settings with individuals who have had learning disabilities, a spectrum of behavioural/maladaptive disorders and cognitive dysfunction
